Two weeks ago Rob and I went on a refrigerator hunt. We shopped at Home Depot, Sam's and Sears before making the decision to order our fridge online to save $200. Hey, it had free delivery!
Yesterday we not only hit our week mark from ordering it but we also found out that our new refrigerator would not be in our new house until NEXT Tuesday!! WHAT?!
Out of desperation and frustration we chose to buy a mini fridge at Sam's Club.....spontaneous to say the least considering we drove the BMW. We thought, "no problem, this will def fit into our trunk".....WRONG.
You see, The BMW is a 1 series, two door, coupe. And no, not only would it not fit into the trunk but the seats would not move up enough to fit it into the back seat. Defeat is not something we will take lightly now after waiting so long for our refrigerator to arrive, so Rob asked me kindly to sit in the back seat, laid the passenger seat all the way down and forced the box into the car, leaving hardly any room for my head, no room for rear or side vision, and only enough room for him to squeeze in between the chair and the steering wheel. But hey, now we have groceries that are being cooled efficiently without sitting inside a little red cooler filled with melting ice.
Heres to perseverance. Heres to impatience rather. Thank God we didn't scratch the leather seats!
